We want to thank everyone SO MUCH for all of gifts, meals, and visits we've received in the last week. We are truly so grateful. I think Jake especially appreciated the food since I can't go up and down stairs (and can't get to the kitchen) he's been in charge of all the meals. He's done a great job of taking care of me and Easton while I try and recover as quickly as possible.
Easton Updates:
- He sure is a good eater - when we left the hospital he weighed 7lbs 2 ounces and we had a nurse come to the house 3 days later and he already weighed 7lbs 11 ounces!
- He still has his days and nights mixed up so it's been quite the challenge to try and keep him up during the day. He also won't sleep in his crib - it's such a big space for his little body that whenever he moves he startles himself awake. So, we've been having him sleep in his car seat which seems to be working wonderfully. We're going to slowly get him used to the crib with naps throughout the day and using a woombie to keep him nice and snug!
