Big Boy

Easton loves to crawl over, under and on top of everything.  He's able to take about 10 steps by himself now before he falls down.  He's had a rough past week with a case of the stomach flu, cold, and now an ear infection. We're making an appointment with an ENT this week to get a 2nd opinion.  Easton's primary doc. wants to wait another month before talking tubes.  Although, he's had fluid in his right ear for over 3 months now and he hasn't been able to hear out of it and the fluid is a nice little breeding ground for bacteria so he is constantly getting infections once he is off of an antibiotic.  We just want him to be free of pain and to hear...so we're hoping he's a good candidate for tubes so we can help him feel better. The most important news of the night is that I'm pretty sure (and Jake said he thinks so too...so it's not wishful thinking) Easton said "Mama" 2 times tonight!  yahoo!
