Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!  We had a wonderful Christmas with our families.  It's nice to have some time off after the holidays to re-coup from the lack of sleep, driving, and the excitement of family and presents!  Easton was so much fun this year!  When we opened presents at my parents house he just went crazy with his cousins.  He'd yell, "yay!" and clap every time someone, especially himself, opened a present.  So fun to see him get so excited.  Every present he opened he also called a, "fire truck" so when he got a present that was an actual fire truck he was sooo happy!  He loved all of his gifts - so a big thanks for all of the gifts!  Jake and I put away all his "baby" toys today to make room for all the new stuff.  With this transition, Jake also lost control of his, "man room."  Easton took it over with lots and lots of toys!  :)

Another exciting milestone happened this past week - NO NOOK! woohoo!  He did pretty good.  I read that if you snip off the end of the nook they wont want it because it doesn't 'work.'  Well, that's just what happened.  Easton spit it out and said, "put it in trash."  So, we did and we haven't looked back since!  He's also fighting a nasty cold!  I would think after he gets rid of this he has to be healthy for the rest of winter seeing as though he's had, cold, flu, ear infection, croup...there's not much left!  Jake and I have the rest of the week off of work so we're loving spending the time with him and getting lots of cleaning and organizing done around the house.  Easton is just talking up a storm these days -- it's so much fun!

Well, that's about it for updates around our house!  Happy Holidays!
