Superman to the rescue!!!!

Easton is obsessed with superhero's lately.  He'll change into his superman jammies as soon as he gets home - it has a cape and he can run super duper fast with his cape on. Easton even bought me a Spiderman shirt for my birthday so we can play superheros together.   He also wants to watch superman as soon as he gets home.  I'm going to have to put an end to that soon though until we can find one a little more age appropriate.  I watched it (listened while he watched) and it is super violent and not age appropriate at all.  He and the boys at his school play superhero all day long.  Yesterday when I picked him up his friend, Luca, reminded him to bring his sunglasses tomorrow so they can play power rangers.  Then he asked me if Luca could come over and watch Superman with him.  Super cute to watch him with his friends - he's doing so great at school now.  Makes my heart happy :)

Last night we went to the park and there was a girl from Easton's school there.  She was about a year older than him and they played so well together - it was so fun to watch him.  The girl kept wanting him to climb up the slides and to go down a steep slide with no hands.  Easton wouldn't do this (because he's never done either) so it was fun to see how he got himself out of those situations.  BUT as soon as she left the park - he had to learn how to climb the slide and go down with no hands.  He's an expert now and will be ready to play with her again!

We went to Jake's cousins wedding last weekend.  Talk about exhaustion!!!  It was fun and Easton was a dancing machine.  Well, more like a running machine - he ran circles around the dance floor until his feet hurt - literally.  But we didn't get home until after 11pm so we didn't get to bed until after mid-night.  Plus I had to feed Raya in Jakes truck all night because of where the reception was - there was no place to feed her.  Talk about a lot of work.  It was nice to see everyone and celebrate but we're thankful that Auntie Mary's wedding is a year away so we don't have to get that exhausted again!  We were seriously down for the count all of Sunday.

disaster.  Me and the kids sleeping on the couch Sunday morning

Proves how tired we all were.  Sunday morning and Easton says he's going to sleep on the couch with me... this would never normally happen.

Selfie on the way down to the wedding!
